We all get anxious from time to time. It’s often triggered by stress in our lives. Anxiety becomes a real problem when it causes such distress that it interferes with our ability to lead a normal life. That could be the result of an anxiety disorder. An estimated 18% of American adults or 56 million people suffer from this problem.
What are the symptoms of anxiety disorders?
Anxiety disorders cause feelings of apprehension or dread, anticipating the worst, irritability, restlessness, and feeling like your mind is going blank. You can also experience heart palpitations, hyperventilation and panic attacks. Medication can dramatically reduce anxiety symptoms.

“I was suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks nearly every day for six months. I tried talk therapy, which helped to some degree, but it wasn’t enough. My insurance provider recommended Dr. Dzudza and my mental health began improving after our first meeting, thanks to the medication he prescribed. Dr. Dzudza is efficient and helpful. He listens well and provides excellent treatment. Now I have a grip on my mental health so I can focus on my life, school and work. Best of all, I’m calmer and no more panic attacks!”
